Lurcher (rhyming edition)

This is a stupid piece of writing go away you idiots.
A while ago, my parents went shopping - but bring me they didn't, and that I'm despising
At 6 on the dot, when the sun was to leave - I put on my hoodie, and left to roam free
It got dark, yet my watch was at six and eleven - and plus, it was fall, yet the leaves hadn't fallen
I found a lone feline, clearly desperate and abandoned - I picked up the cat, then I heard a growling
When I ran and looked back, I just sprinted faster - For it seemed I was what Slenderman was now after
But no, it was dog-like, with long claws as well - My jog didn't suffice, as when I stood still
In front of the front door, inserting the key - A sharp pain in my back had canceled my flee
The cat and I were sent to our respective nurses - Now forests with red eyes clearly inflict us with curses
